The Antique Exchange Specializes in Estate Sales
Estate sales are an excellent way for people who have inherited antiques (or may simply be downsizing) to sell collections or individual vintage items. Perhaps you have a specific group of things to sell, or maybe you don’t know where to start in contemplating an estate sale? Sometimes having an on-site estate sale makes the most sense, particularly with a large inventory. Either way, or even if you’re not sure, The Antique Exchange’s Estate Sales team can present you with several approaches to liquidating an estate, and will help you pick the right path that fits your needs.
Planning your estate sale
Our experts will come to your location to review, price, and discuss recommendations for liquidating your estate inventory in a way that best suits your needs and goals. If an item is not appropriate for this venue, our team will consult with you and/or the consignor and discuss the best approach for realizing the best price or means of liquidation.
Is an on-site estate sale right for you?
With on-site estate sales, owners and consigners can have a more active part in selling, if so desired. Most estate sales are labor intense, but we enjoy bringing fresh items to the market place, and we know our job! If you elect an on-site estate sale, we’ll offer suggestions for staging your items for best presentation. On the actual day of the estate sale, will be there to support you through all aspects of the process, and to offer expert advice and knowledge to prospective buyers.
If you are not in a position to stage an on-site sale, or if you prefer to not do so, we can help there too. We will assist you with moving, shipping and liquidating your inventory to our showroom for resale. Bottom line is, we present you a range of options, explain the process, and help you choose the best approach for your needs.
